The City of North Las Vegas is proud to offer affordable and free swimming lessons for the community. Swim lessons for ages four and up focusing on focusing on water safety and building confidence in the water through a progressive, age appropriate approach.
To sign, up register via ActiveNet or visit the SkyView Multi-Generational Center. Registration is required to participate. Spots are limited and on a first come, first served basis.
Swim Lesson Sessions
Each session is eight, small-group classes for 30 minutes. The cost of each session is $40.00, except for Session 5. Pre-registration and payment is required for participation.

Session 2
Registration: May 23 - Jun 11
Classes: Jun 15 - Jun 25
AM Time: 9:00am – 9:30am or 10am – 10:30am

Registration: Jun 20 - Jul 2
Classes: Jul 6 - Jul 16

More Information About Swim Lessons
Starfish swim classes, part of the Starfish Aquatic Institute's curriculum, emphasizes self-rescue skills, including trust and submersion, body positions, air recovery, and forward/rotary movement. Our swim classes use learning activities to create a comfortable and engaging environment for students to explore the water. The curriculum is designed with benchmarks at each stage, providing a clear path for skill development.
