General Terms Applicable to All City Facilities

Rental Fees

The standard rental fees noted below apply to a standard public rental for use by individuals, groups, or businesses not qualifying as nonprofit or government-affiliated. Standard rental fees apply to events related to an election campaign.

Non-profit groups with recognized 501(c)(3) status receive a 25% discount off standard rental fees.

Public agencies (e.g. Clark County) or elected officials receive a 25% discount off standard rental fees. This discounted rate applies to events hosted by public agencies or elected officials hosting community engagement events. The discounted rate does not apply to events related to an election campaign. Campaign-related events are subject to standard rental fees.

Rental fees do not apply to City events (e.g., events initiated, planned, and put on by City staff for events requested by City Council or City departments for community engagement/programming).

Co-Sponsored Events

Events that are set up as co-sponsored events that benefit both public agencies and their residents (e.g. Clark County and City) are subject to the discounted rental fee for public agencies to be paid by the non-City party. The rental fee for co-sponsored events may be waived in the discretion of City management.

Any events that are requested to be co-sponsored by the City require 30-day advance reservation. All co-sponsored events must have the City logo on all materials related to the event, including all marketing and pre-event publications. Collateral and promotional materials must be provided to the City for review and approval at least 21 days prior to the event. Collateral and promotional materials must be approved by the City prior to dissemination to the public. If the co-sponsored event is to be marketed through City channels, the event organizer must work with the City’s Communications Department to develop a marketing graphic that conforms with the City’s branding requirements.

Any reservations cancelled due to inclement weather (temperatures above 110 degrees, under 45 degrees, wind over 30 mph or continuous rain) must be rescheduled within 30 days.
