Enjoy Free Tickets to STEAM Saturdays with Your Library Card.

Library cardholders can receive four free tickets to STEAM Saturdays at The Neon Museum by simply presenting their library card at the entrance.

What is STEAM Saturday?
STEAM Saturday is a family-friendly program at The Neon Museum, featuring fun make-and-take activities, hands-on learning, and engaging demonstrations. Designed to foster creativity and critical thinking, the program encourages participants to explore the exciting world of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math (STEAM).

Event Details:

• When: Select Saturdays, 9:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.

• Format: Drop-in style. Feel free to arrive and leave anytime during the program hours.

Why STEAM?
STEAM education combines the arts and sciences to encourage curiosity, inquiry, and problem-solving. By participating in STEAM activities, children and families can develop valuable skills that foster a lifelong passion for learning, better preparing them for the challenges of the future.

Horses4Heroes Family Farm Days

North Las Vegas Library District cardholders can enjoy a free Family Ranch Tour at Horses4Heroes’ The Ranch Las Vegas by presenting their library card. This experience at the 2.5-acre ranch allows guests to interact with miniature horses. Visitors will tour the barnyard, meet farm animals and engage in hands-on activities like milking a stationary cow and playing in the fenced playground. Children can also enhance their adventure by participating in a Scavenger Hunt.

Tour Availability:

• Reservations are exclusively for Family Farm Days, held on Fridays and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

• Registration is required. Click here to register.

• Each Family Ranch Tour reservation admits up to three children, with one reservation allowed per family per day.

• Important Note: Horse or pony rides are not included in this complimentary tour but can be purchased on-site.

Library card holder can check out a Nevada State Parks Pass from the library and gain free entry into all of Nevada’s 27 state parks.

• Each pass covers the day-use entrance fee for one passenger vehicle with a capacity of up to eight people.
• Park fees may be assessed for boating, camping, or other specific fees including special programs or tours.
• Passes check out for seven days and are subject to availability.

The Nevada State Parks Pass is valid at all 27 Nevada State Parks. The pass does not include federal, regional, or other public lands in Nevada that are not part the Nevada State Park system.
