40 Cards • 4 Decks • Can You Collect Them All? Collect • Explore • Learn • Trade

Start your Buddy Bookworm Trading Card collection and discover new library services, programs, staff, and community locations along the way. Each trading card highlights something special connected to the North Las Vegas Library District and our community.

Buddy Bookworm Trading Cards are available at all North Las Vegas Library locations and at select outreach events and community locations where library staff are participating in events.

Use the Buddy Bookworm Trading Card Collector’s Guide to keep track of your collection and see how many cards you can collect. Trade with friends and other collectors to complete your collection.

How to Participate

1. Download your Buddy Bookworm Trading Card Collector’s Guide or ask for one at any North Las Vegas Library.

2. Visit the library, attend programs, complete activities, and visit City locations.

3. Ask staff for trading cards when you complete activities or visit locations.

4. Collect up to 3 trading cards per visit.

5. Check off your cards in your Collector’s Guide.

6. Trade with friends and try to collect all 40 cards!

Trading cards are available while supplies last and may not always be available at every location or event.

Buddy GO! Trading Card Game

Inspired by the North Las Vegas Library District Trading Card Collection, Aliante Library patrons Ava and Aurora created this fun card game for the community to enjoy. Download the rules to Buddy GO! and start playing today!

Trading Card Decks

The Buddy Bookworm Trading Cards are divided into decks, each with 10 cards. Try to collect all the cards from each deck.

Neighborhood Rec Center Back to School Fair | August 8 | 8-11 a.m. | 1638 N Bruce St, North Las Vegas, NV 89030

Library Deck – Series I
The Library Deck features North Las Vegas Library locations and library staff. To collect Library Deck cards, visit library locations and talk to library staff. Ask staff if they have a trading card available and add it to your collection.
Activity Deck – Series II
The Activity Deck includes cards that can be earned by attending library programs, exploring library services like Libby and online databases, participating in Makerspace and Hydroponics programs, completing activities and reading challenges, and participating in special activities at the library.
Summer Learning Challenge Deck – Series III
The Summer Learning Challenge Deck includes cards connected to Summer Learning activities, reading, and special Summer Learning programs. Participate in Summer Learning events and activities to collect these cards. These cards are only available from May 18 – August 8, 2026.
City Deck – Series IV
The City Deck features important locations and services throughout the City of North Las Vegas. Visit these locations, find the Buddy Bookworm yard signs, enter the secret codes in Beanstack, and then visit the library to pick up your trading card. These cards are only available from May 18, 2026 – April 30, 2027 in celebration of the City’s 80th Anniversary.
