School will soon be in session, so the City of North Las Vegas has free resources, events and the help you need to get your students ready for classes.

Back to School Giveaway

The much anticipated, annual City of North Las Vegas Back to School Giveaway returns. Students can receive free school supplies and haircuts. Supplies are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. Children must be present to receive school supplies.

Neighborhood Recreation Center: 1638 N. Bruce St. I Saturday, August 8 from 8-11 a.m.

Safekey Before and After-School Care

Safekey is a structured, affordable before and after school recreational enrichment program designed for K-5th grade children. Safekey is offered at Clark County School District school sites on days that CCSD is in session.

Safekey registration for the 2026-2027 school year begins July 20, 2026.

Enhance learning with free resources from the North Las Vegas Library District, including ABC-CLIO, ABC Mouse and more in the Online Library.

Early learning platform with math, science, social studies, art and music lessons.

After School at the DHRC

The Dolores Huerta Resource Center offers after school programs in the computer lab for free on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 3-5 p.m.
