Under the leadership of Deputy Fire Chief Justin Campbell, the Fire Operations Division is the driving force behind North Las Vegas Fire Department’s readiness and performance.  This division oversees Fire Suppression, Emergency Medical Services (EMS), Special Operations, and Training, ensuring that crews are fully equipped, expertly trained, and mission-ready for anything - whether it’s a structure fire, medical emergency, hazardous materials event, or large-scale disaster.

Fire Operations also plays a key role in regional collaboration, working closely with public safety partners across the Las Vegas Valley to support seamless, cross-jurisdictional response.  The division is actively engaged with internal groups like the Safety Committee, SOG Committee, Operations Committee, and Peer Support Team, ensuring that NLVFD continues to evolve through shared knowledge, best practices, and a strong focus on firefighter wellness.
