The North Las Vegas Fire Department provides comprehensive Emergency Medical
Services (EMS) to the community, ensuring prompt, professional care in critical
situations. EMS personnel are extensively trained to deliver essential medical
assistance across a wide range of emergencies.

The department operates eight advanced life support (ALS) ambulances, each
equipped for patient transport and staffed by Firefighter/Paramedics. These units
are available to serve the community 24 hours a day.

To enhance coverage and reduce response times, the department also maintains a
contractual partnership with MedicWest Ambulance., which supplies additional
dedicated ambulances.

All ambulances are additionally supported by six fire engines and three truck
companies, each capable of delivering advanced life support as needed, thereby
reinforcing the department’s commitment to high-quality emergency medical care.
