The City of North Las Vegas hosted its Fourth Annual School Mariachi Showcase on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at the newly updated Amphitheater at Craig Ranch Park, bringing together middle and high school mariachi ensembles from across the Las Vegas Valley for a day of learning and live performance.

Students spent the day participating in workshops and skill-building sessions from professional mariachi musicians before taking the stage for the evening showcase. The free, public event drew community members and families to celebrate cultural heritage and musical excellence.

The showcase highlighted how mariachi education extends beyond music, building self-esteem, fostering academic achievement and keeping students engaged in learning.
