Andy Moore has served as City Attorney of the City of North Las Vegas since November 2024.  Andy joined the City of North Las Vegas City Attorney’s Office in September 2017. 

Andy has 20 plus years of experience in both the private and public sectors in a broad range of areas including municipal and administrative law, zoning and land use, commercial litigation, business licensing, and real estate transactions and development. After graduating law school in 2004, Andy was a judicial law clerk in the Eighth Judicial District Court in Clark County. Following his clerkship, Andy worked at Kummer Kaempfer where he worked in the firm’s litigation and gaming practice groups. Prior to his employment with the City, Andy worked at Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck, where he handled gaming law and regulatory licensing matters.

Andy earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in History from the University of California, Santa Barbara. He earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Oregon. 

Andy serves the community by volunteering on pro bono legal matters through the Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada and the Southern Nevada Senior Law Program.
