The City of North Las Vegas is developing an area plan for Tule Springs East, a 7,000-acre site north of the 215 Beltway, neighboring the Tule Springs Fossil Beds National Monument and the Desert National Wildlife Refuge.
The Tule Springs East area plan aims to establish the framework for a community featuring residential neighborhoods, a new University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) campus, and a federally-designated Job Creation Zone, which is reserved for commercial development and job opportunities.
