Apex Industrial Park
Prologis Acquisition: Prologis owns two properties within Apex; Prologis Gateway and Prologis The Hub. Both projects were proposed within 2023 and have been continuously developed and expanded in recent time. Prologis The Hub site amounts to 879 acres, while Prologis Gateway site amounts to 163 acres. Within the next years both sites are planned to be fully developed and ready for usage by tenants looking to do business within Apex.
Apex Ridge Logistics Park: This large-scale speculative industrial development (over 1.35 million square feet across two buildings) is breaking ground to capture the high demand for distribution space, with an estimated completion of mid-2027.
Garnet Valley System: North Las Vegas and the Southern Nevada Water Authority (SNWA) are developing a $900 million water and wastewater pipeline project slated for 2028. The Garnet Valley System will sustainably recycle all indoor water back to Lake Mead. This buildout is expected to create 73,000 jobs over the next 20 years.
Logisticenter at Miner's Mesa: The Logisticenter at Miner's Mesa is a 664,000 square-foot industrial building. This site, completed in 2024, is designed for distribution with high-clear-height warehouse space, cross-docking capability, and direct access to the I-15 freeway within minutes of the facility.
Kroger Distribution Center: Kroger Distribution Center is a 983,00 square-foot distribution center that was completed in 2025. This distribution centers completion signifies the ability for North Las Vegas to house large brand names, bolstering the amount of jobs and opportunities for the city as a whole.
Peak Distribution Center: Peak Distribution Center is a two-building, 794,386-square-foot industrial development in Apex Industrial Park that will expand North Las Vegas' logistics and distribution capacity.
Moonwater West: Moonwater West is a 922,569-square-foot distribution facility that provides modern logistics infrastructure, including cross-dock capabilities, high-clear-height warehouse space, and significant transportation access. Completed in 2025, the project strengthens Apex's role as a major industrial and distribution hub while supporting future employment growth in logistics, warehousing, and supply chain operations.
Redevelopment Efforts
Hylo Park: A major 70-acre, $380 million mixed-use commercial and residential project actively taking shape at the corner of Rancho Drive and Lake Mead Boulevard. This project is expected to be fully open in 2027
The Former City Hall Site: The demolition of the old city hall cleared the path for an entirely new civic hub, integrated with high-density housing and downtown retail amenities.
Higher Education and Talent Pipeline Support
Nevada State University (NSU) North Las Vegas Campus
A new NSU campus is being constructed downtown at the corner of Lake Mead and Las Vegas Boulevards, scheduled to open its doors to students in the Fall of 2027. This creates immediate opportunities for educational staff, local businesses, and specialized workforce training.
Tule Springs East Area Plan
Looking further ahead, the city finalized a blueprint for a 4,100-acre master site. This future endeavor includes residential zoning for 100,000 residents, a Job Creation Zone, and the future University of Las Vegas North Las Vegas campus. This plan is projected to generate more than 73,000 jobs upon full maturation.
