The City of North Las Vegas has received a $400,000 Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Brownfields Assessment Grant to help property owners and developers assess potentially contaminated commercial properties.     Phase I and II ESA’s were completed, identifying contaminated soils before construction began. The City was then able to remediate the soil before construction began, preventing construction delays and preventing health issues to future occupants of the new building.
