To help expand the supply of affordable housing, the City of North Las Vegas is now accepting applications from housing developers for the HOME Investment Partnerships Program (HOME)/Account for Affordable Housing Trust Funds (AAHTF) for grants years 2026-2027.
The HOME program is sponsored by the United States Department of Housing & Urban Development and provides grants to state and local governments to create affordable housing for low-income households. AAHTF funds are available through the State of Nevada. The HOME and AAHTF funds received by the City of North Las Vegas will be used by qualified developers for affordable housing projects that serve low-income North Las Vegas residents.
A pre-application is required as part of the HOME application process and is available at
cityofnorthlasvegas.com/affordablehousing. The deadline for submitting the pre-application is Monday, Dec. 14, 2026 at 3 p.m. PST. The deadline for submitting the final application is Thursday, Dec. 17, 2026 at 3 p.m. PST.
The City of North Las Vegas will accept and award applications on a first-come, first-served basis depending on the time of the pre-application and application entry. Award distribution will depend on availability of grant funds at the sole discretion of the City of North Las Vegas.
