City of North Las Vegas Hosts 4th Annual School Mariachi Showcase  

WHAT: Join the City of North Las Vegas for the Fourth Annual Mariachi Showcase. This free, public celebration of culture, community and musical excellence will feature performances from 15 local middle and high school mariachi programs.  

WHO: City of North Las Vegas officials, middle and high school mariachi ensembles from across the Las Vegas Valley 

WHEN: Saturday, April 18 from 5-8 p.m. 

WHERE: Amphitheater at Craig Ranch Park North Las Vegas, Nev. 

WHY: Mariachi education builds self-esteem, fosters academic achievement and keeps students engaged in learning. The showcase provides student musicians an opportunity to demonstrate skills developed at City-sponsored mariachi workshops while celebrating cultural heritage.
