The North Las Vegas City Clerk’s Office announces a new resource for Southern Nevada residents looking to obtain their passport. The one-stop Passport Services office opens to the public on March 30 at 8:30 a.m. in the city hall lobby, located at 2250 Las Vegas Blvd. North. North Las Vegas Mayor Pro Tem Scott Black will receive the ceremonial first passport and will do a presentation to the office’s first customer at 8:30 a.m.

“The demand for passport services in the area has been growing in recent years, and with our location in downtown North Las Vegas, our community won’t have to travel as far to apply,” says North Las Vegas City Clerk Jackie Rodgers. “Opening a passport office aligns with the city’s strategic goal of innovative government, which enhances operational efficiency while also improving the lives of locals.”

Prior to visiting Passport Services, applicants are encouraged to visit cityofnorthlasvegas.com/passports to learn how to streamline their visit. Appointments are required and can be scheduled on the City’s website today. Passport Services hours are Monday-Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. The office will be closed from 12-1:30 p.m. Monday-Thursday, all day Friday, weekends and all state and federal holidays.
