North Las Vegas Police welcomed 34 police officers and two corrections officers to the department when class 2025-02 graduates from the North Las Vegas Police Academy. Four recruits for the Clark County School District Police Department also graduated from the academy.

 

Cheered on by family, friends and peers, the North Las Vegas Police recruits were pinned with their new badges by Chief of Police Jacqueline Gravatt, followed by a swearing-in ceremony. The NLVPD recruit class was comprised of three women and 33 men, 17 of whom are bilingual. Six recruits are veterans and eight have college degrees.
