
City of North Las Vegas Announces Black History Month Events
The City of North Las Vegas will honor Black History Month throughout February with a series of community events that celebrate Black culture, history and community. Residents are invited to participate in family-friendly programming hosted by the City, the North Las Vegas Library District and Department of Parks and Recreation.
Black History Month events will culminate with the
Community Celebration on Saturday, Feb. 21, at Aliante Nature Discovery Park. The outdoor celebration will feature live performances, cultural presentations, food vendors and community partners in a setting for all ages. Additional Events include:

Mayor’s Black Hair Care Drive, All Month
Throughout the month of February, the City of North Las Vegas will be hosting a Black Hair Care Product drive to benefit North Las Vegas students. Donations can be dropped off in the City Hall lobby or donated online through an
Amazon Registry.
