DieselCore, a Houston-based supplier and distributor in the diesel engine and parts remanufacturing industry, is establishing a new facility in North Las Vegas. On Monday, the Nevada Governor's Office of Economic Development (GOED) approved $117,286 in abatements for DieselCore, who is expected to create 87 jobs at an average hourly wage of $31.61 within five years.
"We are excited to welcome DieselCore to North Las Vegas. Their investment reinforces that our City is a hub for manufacturing and distribution," said North Las Vegas Mayor Pamela Goynes-Brown. "DieselCore's philosophy of renewal and sustainability will now create meaningful career paths and opportunities for our residents."
According to GOED, the facility is expected to generate $7.2 million in new taxes over the next 10 years.
