Free Turkey Giveaway on Nov. 22

The City of North Las Vegas will host its forth annual Thanksgiving turkey giveaway Saturday, Nov. 22, at 8 a.m. at Liberty Park in front of City Hall, 2250 Las Vegas Blvd. N. The city, in partnership with Cox and Bimbo Bakeries, will distribute free family-sized turkeys and bread to 500 local families on a first-come, first-served basis until supplies run out. 

City Council members and volunteers will be on hand to assist families with loading their food. The giveaway aims to help families enjoy the holidays together without the added financial stress of providing a Thanksgiving meal.  

This year's event will also feature a resource fair aimed at providing assistance to families.
