City of North Las Vegas to Host Free Veterans Day Barbecue and Resource Fair
The City of North Las Vegas will host its annual Veterans Day Barbecue and Resource Fair on Saturday, Nov. 1, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Veterans and Community Resource Center, 3090 E. Centennial Pkwy. The public is invited to attend this free family-friendly event.
Attendees can meet with local organizations that provide resources and services specifically designed to address the unique needs of the veteran community. Since opening in October 2022, the North Las Vegas Veterans and Community Resource Center has connected more than 1,900 local veterans to accessible, no-cost services and resources, including employment, housing, education, mental health and wellbeing, finance and legal support.
