The North Las Vegas Police Department will host National Night Out on Tuesday, Oct. 7 from 6-9 p.m. at Desert Horizons Park, located at 3750 N. Simmons St. This is a night for neighbors to come together and engage with police to foster positive relationships and build awareness of crime prevention activities. 

The family-friendly event will feature emergency vehicles, vendor booths and information displays aimed at empowering residents to combat crime in their neighborhoods by furnishing them with valuable resources on crime prevention and personal safety. There will also be complimentary food, games and entertainment suitable for all ages.

National Night Out serves as a platform to highlight the significance of collaborations between the police and the community, as well as resident engagement in our collective efforts to make neighborhoods safer, better places to live. The celebration has evolved into a time-honored tradition for both the North Las Vegas Police Department and the community.
