City of North Las Vegas hosted Fifth Annual Hispanic Heritage Month Kickoff Celebration
WHO: The City of North Las Vegas, Councilman Isaac Barron, Councilwoman Ruth Garcia-Anderson, Consul General Patricia Cortes Guadarrama (Mexico), Consul General Mabel Martinez Romero (El Salvador), Consul General Pablo Alejandro Molina Leonardo (Guatemala) and community members.
WHAT: The Fifth Annual Hispanic Heritage Month Kickoff Celebration, a free festival with El Grito de Dolores, the Parade of Nations, food vendors, school and community performances and live music headlined by Conjunto Brio Norteño.

WHY: To honor the histories, traditions, and contributions of Hispanic and Latino communities during Hispanic Heritage Month. This free celebration highlights North Las Vegas as Nevada’s largest minority-majority city and brings neighbors together through culture, food, music and family activities.
