City of North Las Vegas Hosting Nationally Recognized Shooting Stars Youth Track Meet

WHAT: North Las Vegas has invested significantly in youth sports as part of its broader mission to enhance community health and well-being. An award-winning event returns to the City on Sept. 13 as Southern Nevada 5-13 year olds will participate in the Shooting Stars Youth Track Meet. The 2024 event earned an Excellence in Youth Sports Award from the National Alliance for Youth Sports for providing exceptional youth sports programs.

The Olympic-style events include the discus, miniature hurdles, long jump and many more. Competitors can go head-to-head with their age group or just play for fun. Each athlete will receive a medal and a bib.
