North Las Vegas Senior Program to Plant Fall Harvest at Historic Kiel Ranch Orchard
WHAT: The City of North Las Vegas is hosting a Fall Planting Harvest at the Kiel Ranch Orchard for members of the Neighborhood Recreation Center senior program. This is the second community event at the historic site since it was renovated and reopened this past spring, with the first being the gathering of fruits and vegetables by local seniors. Approximately two months after the planting, a harvest date will be determined and the seniors will
return to reap the benefits of their hard work. The Orchard is being used to address food insecurity through community planting and harvesting.
