North Las Vegas Celebrates Grand Opening of Nation's Only Double-Decker Bus Manufacturing Facility 

The City of North Las Vegas celebrated the grand opening of Alexander Dennis Inc.'s first U.S.-based double-decker bus manufacturing facility. 

"This is big. The only double-decker bus manufacturing facility in the entire country is right here in North Las Vegas," said North Las Vegas City Councilman Isaac Barron, who also serves as RTC Vice Chairman. "When someone hops on a double-decker in New York, Seattle, or elsewhere, there's a good chance it rolled out of this building. We're making transportation history."

The facility represents a $15.3 million investment through 2025. It currently employs more than 100 local workers and produces an average of one bus per week. Alexander Dennis projects opportunities to expand its North Las Vegas workforce and production as demand increases.
