WHAT: The City of North Las Vegas invites the public and media to attend its annual Juneteenth Flag Raising Ceremony, a celebration of freedom, reflection and community. This year’s program will include special remarks from Mayor Pamela Goynes-Brown and Congressman Steven Horsford, live performances, a proclamation presentation and the ceremonial raising of the Juneteenth flag to commemorate the end of slavery in the United States.
