The City of North Las Vegas hosted its annual Memorial Day Barbecue and Resource Fair on Saturday, May 31, at the Veterans and Community Resource Center. Veterans, their families and community members gathered to honor fallen service members, access support services, and enjoy free food and music. 

The free event featured more than 40 local organizations that provide resources and support services to the military community. Attendees also viewed a car show that included vehicles from the North Las Vegas Fire Department and Nellis Air Force Base. The Veterans and Community Resource Center is located at  3090 East Centennial Pkwy. and provides free support to Veterans and their families daily.
