The City of North Las Vegas, alongside developer Agora Realty & Management, celebrated the groundbreaking of the first phase of Hylo Park. This transformative development will feature a commercial lifestyle center to serve 393 new single-family homes while bringing essential retail and dining options to the rapidly growing area.
"Today marks another milestone in North Las Vegas' journey of growth and development," said Mayor Pamela Goynes-Brown. "Hylo Park South embodies our commitment to creating safe, vibrant and connected communities where people can live, work, shop and gather. This project will provide our residents with the essential services and amenities they deserve right in their neighborhood."
The first phase of the Hylo Park development is a commercial lifestyle center featuring restaurants, a grocery store, retail and other amenities. It will emphasize walkability through wide, shaded pathways connecting to the adjacent residential community.
“This groundbreaking is more than just the start of construction. It’s the beginning of new opportunities—for local businesses, for job creation, and for fostering a sense of community. This shopping center will serve as a place where families gather, entrepreneurs thrive, and neighbors connect,” said Aaron Lefton, President of Acquisition & Leasing, Agora Realty & Management.
Phase one of the development is expected to open in December. Phase two, which will feature a multi-purpose sports venue, shops, additional restaurants and more, is expected to break ground later this year.
This latest project adds to Agora Realty's successful developments in North Las Vegas, including a $200 million investment in the Downtown Gateway.
