Park hours are 6 a.m.-11 p.m. daily.

Trail hours are 5 a.m.-11 p.m. daily.

The following are prohibited:

• Feeding or releasing any animal
• Use or possession of illegal narcotics
• Marijuana use, possession, or consumption
• Fireworks, explosives, or open fires of any type
• Only authorized motorized vehicles and electric personal assistive mobility devices are allowed in parks and on trails, pathways and non-designated motor vehicle areas
• Overnight camping or lodging
• Drones and/or remote-controlled aircraft
• Loitering for purposes of engaging in drug related activity (NLV 9.16.020)
• Loud, boisterous, or disorderly/offensive behavior or engage in or promote, instigate, encourage, aide, or abet fighting or any similar violent, threatening, or tumultuous behavior
• Vending and or soliciting
• Defacement, damage, or removal of City property
• Discharging of firearms (NLV 9.32.110)
• Unauthorized use of park amenities
• Swimming or wading
• Digging or staking of any kind, except by permit
• Fishing and/or hunting
• Alcoholic beverages, except by special permit.
• Inflatables on grass areas May 1-Oct. 1. All inflatables require a permit.
• Horses, ponies or horseback riding
• Climbing on bathroom structures, park buildings, concession stands, ramadas, shade structures, and any other parks and recreation building.
• Propane grills
• Skating (including using scooters and similar devices) in non-designated areas
• Dunk tanks
• Hitting golf balls
• Smoking (including electronic or vaporized smoking devices and tobacco use) within 100 feet of sporting fields, spectator areas, and all sport and play areas unless within a designated smoking area
• Release of helium balloons, sky lanterns, or water lanterns
• Distribution or donation of food without a permit
• No persons over the age of 12 permitted within 50 feet of a designated and posted children's play area unless accompanying a person 12 years or younger
• Dogs and cats must be leashed (unless in a designated area or have received written approval from the Director) and are prohibited from sports fields, sports courts, skate parks, and children’s play areas. Pet owners must pick up feces. All other animals are prohibited without written permission from the Director of Parks and Recreation
• Adults are prohibited in designated children’s play areas unless supervising a child   

Allocations

The Sports Division coordinates the allocation of athletic fields for organizations to hold league play, practices and other sports-related special events. Email CNLVFields@cityofnorthlasvegas.com for more information.  

Athletic fields are allocated and permitted in two, 6-month increments: January through June and July through December. 

Sports Field Reservations

City fields may be rented, based on availability, on a nightly or weekly basis for team practices and functions. Fees must be paid one week in advance. Email CNLVFields@cityofnorthlasvegas.com or call 702-633-2579 for more information, field rental availability and locations. 

Tournament Reservations

City of North Las Vegas park facilities are available for rent for tournaments. Email CNLVFields@cityofnorthlasvegas.com or call 702-633-2579 for more information and availability.

Use of all City of North Las Vegas parks and trails is subject to Chapter 12.16 Parks and Recreation Area Use Regulations, and Chapter 8.28.020 Prohibited Noise during the hours between 11 p.m. and 7 a.m. unless approved by the Director of Parks and Recreation.

• Please stay on the designated pathways, turf areas, or other paved areas.
• Stay out of the natural landscape areas and fenced off areas.
• Stay out of the Adobe Building and surrounding fenced area.
• Do not remove artifacts found on site.
• Pets disturb wildlife and are not permitted.  
• Keep wildlife safe, do not capture or feed animals.
• Food traffic only, no bicycles, skateboards, or scooters.
• Do not fish, swim, or wade in wetlands. 
• Fires allowed only at BBQ facilities.
• Alcoholic beverages are prohibited.
