Engineering for Kids

• 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Thursday, July 10, at Alexander Library, 1755 W. Alexander Rd., North Las Vegas

• Free, registration required, ages 6-11

Join us for an exciting mechanical engineering lesson where kids can explore the concept of momentum by designing and testing their own spinning tops. The engineering design process encourages creative adjustments, leading to unique results in how each top spins. Best of all, kids can take their tops home and continue improving them!
