The city of North Las Vegas is proud to host a number of events to celebrate Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) Month. Enjoy many family-friendly events the whole month of May, including the annual AANHPI Heritage Month Celebration.

AANHPI Heritage Month Celebration

North Las Vegas City Council and City Manager at 2023 AANHPI FestivalThe AANHPI Heritage Month Celebration, hosted in partnership with the AAPI Chamber, on Saturday, May 9th at Aliante Nature Discovery Park highlights a month of Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander cultural events happening in North Las Vegas.

The free community event will feature cultural performances, live entertainment, food vendors, community resource booths, children's activities and family programming.  

The celebration serves as the centerpiece of a month-long series of events the city has organized to honor AANHPI communities throughout May.

  • 5:00–6:00 p.m. Monday, May 18, at City Hall Library, 2250 Las Vegas Blvd. N., North Las Vegas 

  • Free and open to the public; ages 6 to 11 

Celebrate Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander Heritage Month with a creative and family-friendly paper kite making workshop!
