Finding Gobi: A True Story of Friendship and Adventure
  • 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Saturday, March 7, at Aliante Library, 2400 W. Deer Springs Way, North Las Vegas
  • Free and open to the public, ages 5+
Join author Dion Leonard and his dog Gobi for a special presentation based on the New York Times bestselling book Finding Gobi. This inspiring program is ideal for adults and older children (ages 5+).

Hear the true story of how a small stray dog ran alongside Dion during a 155-mile ultramarathon in the Gobi Desert, and how their incredible bond sparked a worldwide search to bring her home.

After the presentation, children can enjoy a Gobi-inspired craft, and attendees will have a chance to win a copy of the book. Don’t miss this rare opportunity to meet Dion and Gobi and hear their unforgettable story firsthand.

This feel-good event is perfect for animal lovers and families. For more information, call 702-839.2980 or email nlvrefdesk@cityofnorthlasvegas.com
