IMPROVEMENTS TO YOUR NORTH LAS VEGAS WATER SERVICE
We are pleased to announce that the City of North Las Vegas Utility Department is currently in the process of replacing all water meters and registers in our service area. This is another improvement that will complement the recent changes made to our online customer portal. The portal provides customers with additional information to assist you in monitoring your water consumption.
The meter change out project began in 2018 and is expected to take up to three years to complete (2021).
The changes won't impact your utility service. However, you may see a fluctuation in your consumption and corresponding utility bill because of the improved accuracy of the new meters.
You will know your meter has been changed when you receive this notice at the service address:
New features associated with the upgrade include:
- More advanced hardware and technology
- Easy online access with the capability to monitor current and some historical water usage
- Ability to set various usage alarms and alerts to assist you in monitoring consumption
- Easy access to customer information online at https://payutil.cityofnorthlasvegas.com
Our staff will be working with staff from Concord Utilty Services to change out large meters within the City's service area. Their vehicles and uniforms will have the following logo.
