The primary function of the North Las Vegas Sports Section is to provide sports programming for youth and adults in North Las Vegas. The emphasis is placed on healthful competition that promotes wellness in a recreational atmosphere. Programs are organized, conducted and administered by a professional staff with expertise in all types of sports activities. Competition is offered in a variety of skill levels for youth in basketball, flag football and soccer. Team competition is offered for adults in basketball and softball.
The Sports Section is responsible for administration of youth leagues; administration of adult leagues; allocations; tournaments and sports field rentals.

Registration: Jan 15 – Feb 17, 2018
Practices start: Week of Mar 5, 2018 on a day chosen by the volunteer coach
Games start: Mar 24, 2018 (no games on Mar 31)
Fee: $65* (includes 11 weeks of practice, 8-game season, t-shirts, awards and referees)

Softball at Cheyenne Sports Complex is back!
Experience the newly refurbished fields at the Cheyenne Sports Complex – still the best value in Clark County. Each season consists of 14 doubleheaders (7 weeks) and a post-season, single elimination tournament. The North Las Vegas Leagues still features a post-season tournament!
Leagues are offered five (5) nights a week in a variety of levels. Awards are given for the Season Champions AND the Tournament Champions!!! Sponsor awards are given for the Season Champions.
Registration: Feb 4 - Feb 23, 2018
Days: Mondays: Men’s D & E
Tuesdays: Men’s 40+
Wednesdays: Men’s D & E
Games start: Week of March 4, 2018
Fee: $350 + Umpire Fees ($14/team per game)
The Sports Section coordinates and manages the allocation of athletic fields for City and non-city organizations to hold league play, practice and other sport-related special events. Athletic Fields are allocated and permitted in two, 6-month increments. The first is February through May and then August through November. The Sports Section also monitors proper use of allocations and permits.
The Sports Section will be accepting allocation requests for the Spring season (February - May) starting on January 2, 2018. Allocation Request Forms are due to the Sports Office on or before Jan 18, 2018.
