Department of Employment, Training & Rehabilitation
The Nevada Department of Employment, Training and Rehabilitation (DETER) provides a number of labor related services to Nevada's job seekers and employers.  Services include, but are not limited to: applicant recruitment and screening, career enhancement training program, and provision of labor market information.

Corporate and Customized Training
The College of Southern Nevada, Division of Workforce & Economic Development offers Corporate and Customized Training to address training and educational needs of Southern Nevada business and industry.  This program specializes in developing customized group training to help companies achieve staff development and company performance objectives.

Nevada Workforce Connections
Nevada Workforce Connections oversees the implementation of the Workforce Investment Act, providing funding for employment and training services throughout the Southern Nevada Workforce Investment Area.

The Affordable Colleges Online is a resource that explains the benefits of workforce development and discusses how veterans, young professionals and others looking for career advancement can get started.

Nevada Industry Excellence 
Nevada's Leader in Industrial Consulting NVIE is a non-profit organization connected through a national network of manufacturers. NVIE is the official representative of the MEP National Network in Nevada. They are the go-to resource for ensuring Nevada industry is resilient and leads the world in innovation. University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV)
The University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) is committed to economic development and diversification. UNLV is home to a number of centers, institutes and laboratories conducting research in a variety of fields.

Center for Business and Economic Research
The Center for Business and Economic Research at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) collects, analyzes, and disseminates information on the economy and businesses of Nevada.

Nevada Manufacturers Association (NMA)
Recognized as the voice of manufacturing in Nevada, the Nevada Manufacturer's Association (NMA) is an association of manufacturers in Nevada joined together to pursue common goals.

Desert Research Institute
A nonprofit, statewide division of the University and Community College System of Nevada, the Desert Research Institute (DRI) pursues a full-time program of basic and applied environmental research on a local, national, and international scale.

Technology Business Alliance of Nevada (TBAN)
TBAN is dedicated solely to the development of a thriving high-tech community in Southern Nevada.  Through its innovative "Virtual Accelerator" program, TBAN seeks to foster entrepreneurs and attract Venture Capital partners to the region.

Nevada's Center for Entrepreneurship and Technology (NCET)
NCET, Nevada's Center for Entrepreneurship and Technology, is a state-wide non-profit organization that encourages people to start their own businesses and connects them with the resources they need to succeed. 

Small Business Development Assistance   

Nevada Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC), Procurement Outreach Program (POP) works to increase the flow of contract dollars to Nevada businesses by providing training and technical assistance to find, bid on, and win federal, state and local contracts.

U.S. Small Business Administration
The U.S. Small Business Administration provides a wide variety of financial, technical and management assistance to help start, run, and grow businesses.  The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) is dedicated to providing customer-oriented, full-service programs and accurate, timely information to the entrepreneurial community.

Business USA
BUSA provides assistance to small business owners with an electronic gateway of financial resources and information. Their goal is to get your business growing by utilizing small business benefits.

Nevada Microenterprise Initiative (NMI)
Nevada Microenterprise Initiative Program (NMI) provides business development training and financial investments to small business entrepreneurs. The small business training program assists startup businesses by providing knowledge on how to start and build a successful business. The financial program lends them the financial support necessary to start the business and hire employees.

Nevada Capital Investment Corporation (NCIC)
The Silver State Opportunities Fund (SSOF) manages $50 million of capital dedicated to investing in compelling businesses located, expanding into or relocating to Nevada. On behalf of the Nevada Capital Investment Corporation (NCIC), SSOF seeks to generate greater returns for the state's Permanent School Fund and secondarily increase economic development and employment in Nevada. SSOF is managed by Hamilton Lane, a leading global private equity asset management firm.

State of Nevada - State Small Business Credit Initiative (SSBCI)
Access to capital funding is available through two new programs for small businesses in Nevada via the State Small Business Credit Initiative: Nevada Collateral Support Program and Nevada Microenterprise Program.

Service Corps of Retired Executives (SCORE)
The SCORE Association (Service Corps of Retired Executives) is a nonprofit association dedicated to entrepreneur education and the formation, growth and success of small business nationwide.

The SCORE Southern Nevada Chapter provides services locally to the greater Las Vegas region, including Henderson.

Global Trade Assistance

U.S. Commercial Service
The U.S. Commercial Service offers valuable assistance to help businesses export goods and services to markets worldwide.

Nevada Governor’s Office of Economic Development, International Trade Division has programs and funding assistance aimed at both assisting Nevada businesses to begin or expand activities in international markets and attracting foreign investment to the state. Trade missions, trades show, and international marketing efforts assist Nevada companies to enter a specific market while working closely with the Nevada GOED International Division and partners.

Nevada District Export Council
The Nevada District Export Council (NDEC) is an organization of leaders from across Nevada whose knowledge of international business provides a source of professional advice for local firms. Closely affiliated with the U.S. Commercial Service's Export Assistance Centers, the NDEC combines the energies of nearly 25 volunteers to supply specialized expertise to small and medium-sized businesses in their local community who are interested in exporting.

Provides specific research and statistical information about the State of Nevada.  The Governor's Office of Economic Development (GOED)also administers Nevada incentive programs, Nevada's International Trade Program, Procurement Outreach Program (POP), and Nevada Film Office.

Las Vegas Global Economic Alliance (LVGEA)
The Las Vegas Global Economic Alliance is a 501(c)6 membership organization dedicated to developing the economies of Las Vegas, Clark County, Henderson, North Las Vegas, Boulder City, and Mesquite through regional cooperation, global trade, and global connectivity.
