How do I file a Police Report?
There are several ways to accomplish this:
If you have internet access, you may wish to file your report on-line using our E-Reporting system. Currently only these following reports can be submitted using this system:
- Burglary from a Structure
- Burglary from a Vehicle (the breaking of glass or prying of the door to get in and steal items)
- Destruction of Private Property
- Graffiti on Personal Property
- Grand Larceny over $250.00 (This does not include motor vehicle theft)
- Harassing Phone Calls
- Injury to a Vehicle/Vehicle Tampering
- Lost Property
- Petty Larceny under $250.00
- Theft from a Motor Vehicle (taking something from a vehicle without breaking glass or prying open a door. Could be the simple act of reaching through an open window.)
If you are interested in filing one of these reports, please go to the following website:

and follow the on-line instructions

You may call the Police Department at (702) 633-9111 or simply dial 311 and ask that an officer come to you.
Depending on the type of report, an officer may be dispatched to you or you may be asked to come into the station to file a report or utilize our E-Reporting system. Please understand that calls are handled within a priority system. If your call is superceded by a call for something more serious, then you may be waiting a while for an officer to show up. Your patience is appreciated.
