The strength of a Police Department is deeply rooted in the communities it serves as well as in the quality of services which are delivered every day. To achieve community partnership, the North Las Vegas Police Department, through the use of the Chief’s Advisory Council, offers you this forum to voice your questions and receive answers.

The police questions and/or concerns you make may be the same thoughts held by your family, friends, and neighbors. By asking your questions and having them answered in this forum, you provide a service to your community. Gaining knowledge and understanding is a major step toward achieving community partnership.

CONEXIÓN COMUNITARIA LATINA
En Agosto del 2005, el Departamento de Policía de North Las Vegas hizo disponible la línea telefónica de no-emergencia "Conexión Comunitaria Latina" en español con la meta de facilitar, aumentar, y reforzar la comunicación entre los residentes de habla hispana de la Ciudad de North Las Vegas y su Departamento de Policía.

Los usuarios de la línea telefónica de no-emergencia "Conexión Comunitaria Latina" con un promedio de dieciocho llamadas por mes, tienen la oportunidad de llamar con preguntas, comentarios y/o sugerencias, al igual que proveer información acerca de problemas que existen en su vecindad, tal como vehículos abandonados, actividad de grafiti, y otros asuntos que no se consideren emergencia. La línea telefónica de no-emergencia está disponible las 24 horas del día, 7 días a la semana. Las llamadas le serán regresadas durante las horas hábilesde trabajo entre las 9:00 de la mañana y las 5:00 de la tarde, de lunes a jueves. El número telefónico es el (702) 633-1818.
