demands and ensures that water pressures are good throughout our system.
This section is also responsible for the effective maintenance of all
production and storage facilities throughout our system.

This section is responsible for the maintenance and repair of all water
distribution, and wastewater collection system piping. They ensure that

This section is responsible for water system security, backflow prevention,
and employee safety for the Utility Department. It protects the quality
of water within the distribution system from potential hazards that could
come from commercial or industrial facilities. This section also develops
programs and procedures for the department.
Pre-Treatment
This section is responsible for protecting the City's wastewater collection
system and the stormwater collection system. It ensures that businesses
within the City of North Las Vegas do not discharge chemicals or other
contaminants into the sanitary sewer system. It also prevents sewer blockages
by requiring the installation of grease interceptors where needed. This
section is responsible for the application and enforcement associated
with the federal Clean Water Act.
