Robert Huggins
Manager
City of North Las Vegas 2266 Civic Center Drive Robert (Rob) Huggins, P.E. is the City of North Las Vegas’ Manager of Construction Management in the Engineering Services Division of the Public Works Department. Rob manages a staff of 23 professionals who are responsible for managing the construction of the majority of the City’s $926 million Capital Improvement Plan. This work includes performing constructability reviews, monitoring project schedules and budgets, owner’s representative inspections, negotiating change orders, commissioning, and project acceptance. Rob has worked the last 9 years with the City of North Las Vegas in the Engineering Services Division completing programming, design and construction management work. Prior to joining the City, Rob worked as a Staff Project Manager for Kerr-McGee Chemical Corporation for 18 years where he was responsible for the design and construction of electrolytic chemical plants. Rob is a licensed Civil Engineer (PE) in the states of California and Nevada. He has been a long-time resident of the Las Vegas Valley having first moved here in 1968 and living in the valley for a total of 36 years. He attended J. E. Manch Elementary School, K. O. Knudson Middle School, Chaparral High School, and the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. |
