This division provides professional land surveying and construction surveying
services in support of the City’s needs. These services include: map review
of submittals for compliance with NRS and City Municipal Codes; implementation,
monitoring, maintenance and installation of the City horizontal control
reference network and survey control monumentation; installation, verification
and maintenance of the City’s vertical control benchmark system for compliance
with established guidelines and to monitor subsidence; and land surveys
for the City including the City Boundary, annexation surveys, rights-of-way
acquisition, property and topographic design surveys for improvements
to the City’s infrastructure and Capital Improvement Program.
