Project Scope:

This project consists of the design and construction of pavement maintenance strategies for Pecos Road between Carey Avenue and Owens, and Carey Avenue between Las Vegas Boulevard and Pecos. The method of rehabilitation includes milling and overlay of existing AC pavement, re-striping, and removing & replacing sidewalk and sidewalk ramps to make them ADA compliant.

Project Status, as of December 31, 2009: (updated on a quarterly basis)

Utility certification documentation, right of way certification documentation, Final plans, specifications, and cost estimate for Package B was submitted to NDOT on December 15, 2009. NDOT has reviewed and approved these items and has forwarded them to FHWA for final approval. Staff expects approval and a notice to proceed to advertise the project in mid-February 2010.
