Project Scope:

This project consists of the design and construction of the renovations to the existing Walker Park, including installation of a shade shelter with lighting over the existing play area, construction of an interactive spray pad with electrical controls and lighting, replacement of the existing pool deck, installation of shaded bleachers on the north and south ends of the pool; utility line repair or replacement, and relocation of the telephone panel from the pool equipment room.

Project Status, as of December 31, 2009: (updated on a quarterly basis)

Survey and geotechnical investigation has been completed. Staff is working on architectural drawings, while outside consultants are designing the lighting and utility facilities. Staff have prepared a horizontal control plan and are working on construction specifications and contract documents.
