Project Scope:

This project consists of the stabilization of the adobe structure on the historic Kiel Ranch site. Stabilization and restoration work will be performed on the roof and walls where portions are damaged or missing.

Project Status, as of December 31, 2009: (updated on a quarterly basis)

Structural and Architectural Plans have been prepared and reviewed by City Staff. The plans and specifications are ready for construction bids. A State Commission for Cultural Affairs (CCA) grant for $120,000 has been awarded. An item is scheduled to go before City Council in January to accept the grant. It is anticipated that the first phase of stabilization will be bid in mid Spring 2010.
