Project Scope:

The proposed improvements consist of concrete-lined open channel, confluence of the Lake Mead Boulevard storm drain modification to the existing Smoke Ranch confluence structure, transition structures, structural components as required to complete the design of the channel, including any necessary headwall modifications and associated appurtenances.

Project Status, as of December 31, 2009: (updated on a quarterly basis)

This project has been broken into two phases. Phase I is from Lake Mead to Miller Confluence. Phase II starts at Owens, goes north along Losee and east on Lake Mead Boulevard, tying into the Phase I confluence. Phase I construction is complete as part of NDOT's Design-Build; Phase II 90% plans were submitted in October 2009 and comments are being compiled.
