Project Scope:
This project consists of flood control improvements extending along Colton Avenue from North 5th Street to the I-15 corridor. This storm drain facility shall provide approximately 3,400 feet of conveyance facility, discharging into the I-15 flood control facilities. Culvert crossings shall be provided from North 5th Street and at Losee Road. As part of the construction of this facility, roadway conditions will be evaluated and mitigated as necessary. This flood control facility is needed to discharge storm water within the North 5th corridor and to address flooding east of North 5th Street.
Project Status, as of December 31, 2009: (updated on a quarterly basis)
City Staff continued with preliminary design. A 30% Preliminary Design Report is expected to be complete by January 2010. Staff is working on the structural design contract and will finalize technical drainage study once design parameters are finalized with CCRFCD.
