Project Scope:

This project consists of the acquisition of an additional 18 acres of land directly adjacent to the 132-acre Craig Ranch Regional Park, which contains a sizeable portion of the existing golf course. The Craig Ranch Regional Park was previously funded for acquisition, design and development in SNPLMA Rounds 4 & 5 and is currently in the master planning process. This land acquisition would secure almost all of the remaining golf course, including trees, fairways and greens for incorporation into the regional park, thereby protecting the existing fairways and greens from new, more intensive development.

City staff obtained appraisals for the property and made an offer for purchase. The City Attorney's Office has been handling all coordination.
