Project Scope:

This proposed park project will play many roles within the community as part of the neighborhood and as part of the City and region at large, while physically adjoined to the proposed new City Hall as a civic plaza. The plaza will be used for special events such at Taste and Tunes, Farmer's Markets, Cinco de Mayo celebrations, and other events in addition to being available for individual usage. This project will consist of 2 to 4 acres, design, property acquisition, and construction of the infrastructure and amenities. The elements of the proposal include walkways, site improvements, plaza areas, parking, lighting, infrastructure improvements, site furnishing, large special events gazebos, and drinking fountains.

Project Status, as of December 31, 2009: (updated on a quarterly basis)

This project is being designed in conjunction with the New City Hall. Plans are complete for the portion of the park on City owned property. Real Property is obtaining a proposal to install a monitoring well at Walgreens Property.
