Project Scope:

This project consists of the acquisition of 5 acres of land for a future field services facility and storage yard. The proposed facility would be located on BLM land.

Project Status, as of December 31, 2009: (updated on a quarterly basis)

City staff submitted an application to BLM for land acquisition in May 2008. The Environmental Assessment and Notice of Realty Action have been submitted to the BLM. This project is waiting for a response and processing by BLM. The Public Comment Period began on November 22, 2009, and was scheduled for 30 days.
