Project Scope:

This project consists of the master plan and design of a new park on 20 acres of land at the intersection of Bruce Street and Tropical Parkway which will include lighted sports fields, covered picnic tables, group shelter(s) with picnic tables and grills, a walking path, restroom, parking lot, and play equipment.

Project Status, as of December 31, 2009: (updated on a quarterly basis)

The decision has been made to continue with the project so the design contract has been resumed. The bidding format will be restructured into a base bid and several alternate bids in order to match a construction contract with the available funding. A revised schedule has been developed to complete the construction prior to the Bureau of Land Management expiration date of March 21, 2012.
