Project Scope:

This project involves the design, the 12 acre property acquisition, and construction of a 210,000 gross square foot facility based on the results of the 20 Year Facility Master Plan. This facility will accommodate projected service needs for the next 5 to 10 years and will include surface parking for 600, a development customer service center (one-stop shop), and off-site improvements.

Project Status, as of December 31, 2009: (updated on a quarterly basis)

Design: Tenant improvement plans are 100% complete and submitted to Building Safety for review. This project is designed to secure LEED Silver Certification. The design of the FF&E element is scheduled to begin the first quarter of 2010.

Construction: Construction of stair and elevator shafts are complete. Erection of structural steel members will begin in early January. Site utility work is well underway. Construction of the new building is expected to be complete in 735 calendar days (end of June 2011) followed by installation of furniture, fixtures, and equipment and ready for occupancy in Fall 2011.
